Defendants Pay $1,500,000 to Frank, Dolan & Mueller Client for Failure to Diagnose Colon Cancer

Frank, Dolan & Mueller represented a man who had regular rectal exams, however, the doctor failed to detect his colon cancer. When his cancer was finally diagnosed, the cancer was at a stage where it was incurable. We hired several experts who were recognized as leading experts in the world regarding colon cancer issues.

Frank, Dolan & Mueller argued that the cancer was present at the last rectal exam and should have been diagnosed much sooner. Frank, Dolan & Mueller also argued that had the cancer been diagnosed sooner the cancer would have been treatable. The defendants retained numerous experts from around the world who argued there was no negligence. In the end, however, they agreed to settle the case to avoid trial.
